About Delaware
Delaware, the first state of the
United States, boasts a rich history,
scenic beauty, a diverse mix of cultures, and a
strong economic presence.

Delaware enjoys a central location on the
Eastern shore of the United States. The state
is a close neighbor of Philadelphia and is located
near the major metropolitan cities of New York and
Washington, D.C.

Delaware is a small wonder,
with a land area of 1,982 sq. miles. This
makes it the second to smallest state in size out of
the 50 states.
